All members of the dental team should receive appropriate training. When arranging this you will need to consider:

Child protection training should be mandatory for all staff at induction, with updates at regular intervals thereafter. However, it has been reported that many dentists have never received any child protection training.29 More specific guidance on frequency of training may be issued by regulatory bodies in due course.
